Tami has loved horses since she was a little girl and bought her first 3 horses Rusty, Mary, and Toby in August of 2005. Tami never heard of light therapy till 2011. While searching for a saddle, she came across someone in her area and this person said she did light therapy on horses. Tami was intrigued and had Michele come out and do a light therapy session on her old mare Mary, who was arthritic, and after the session Mary walked straighter and freer. Now Mary had a hard time walking and getting up from laying down and Tami was so amazed what the lights did for her horse and in 2012 Tami’s heart horse Rusty tore his meniscus and Tami knew she would need to learn more about light therapy, so she bought her first equine light therapy unit. To help other people’s horses besides her own Tami became a certified photopuncture therapist in 2013. Not only does Tami do light therapy on horses, she also does lights on dogs, cats and people. In 2016 Tami started teaching equine light therapy with Photonic Therapy Institute, so horse owners can learn how to help their horses with light therapy.
